‘It’s just me, standing here, holding a door open. Fun. Amazing. This is so fun. I’ve been standing here for the past two hours. There's a valuable artifact locked in the room I’m guarding and my boss said I CAN'T leave my post until someone else comes along. It’s just me standing in this gloomy hallway. The creamy paint was slowly peeling off. You could hear the humming of someone's refrigerator a few doors down. I’m down at some old motel guarding something that I don’t even know what it is. The smell was extremely damp and musty. My legs are tingling from the amount of time that I’ve been standing there. Sometimes people come and go but it's very unlikely. As I said; It’s just me.
Hi Hayley
ReplyDeleteI really like your 100 word story this week. You crafted your sentences to be interesting, engaging and vary in style and length. I am curious to know what your character is guarding, you've hooked me in!
Next time, can you include the photo prompt so we know what you're story is based on?
